A Client On-Boarding Analyst is required for our client; a well-respected investment bank in the City of London.


The corporate affairs area of the firm provides essential and professional services across all areas of the bank. The group sets and maintains high standards and is continually developing operating efficiencies and setting industry benchmarks in service delivery. They are currently establishing a centralised client on-boarding function.


This is a new role that will give you the opportunity to work closely with key stakeholders across the bank's businesses to standardise the on-boarding process with the aim of improving the client experience, enhancing regulatory control and delivering operational efficiencies.


Responsibilities will ultimately focus on the on-boarding of clients for all divisions across the London office. You will produce client risk assessments, liaise with and escalate issues to the appropriate support functions, and manage the KYC team with accountability for the delivery of client on-boarding process for all business units. You will ensure all clients are on-boarded to UK AML requirements.


The role demands strong knowledge of client on-boarding/account opening process, including regulatory requirements, gained within a financial institution. You will demonstrate detailed knowledge of the FSA regulatory framework and rules, including understanding of AML including customer KYC documentation, customer identification &verification, risk assessment, and due diligence, as well as sanction programmes. Strong leadership skills and project management experience are also required.
