An excellent opportunity has arisen at one of the world's finest investment banks for an IT Business Partner, to work in their City of London offices.

The role provides oversight of a number of essential financial functions, which will provide core support to business managers and central finance. The role manages two associates that are responsible for accounting governance, tracking and analyzing monthly financial performance, as well as providing operational reporting.

Services within scope include organization management, financial analysis and control, data control, and ad-hoc reporting.

The role ultimately covers end-to-end financial management. You, as a successful IT business partner, will promote annual budget governance objectives by reviewing, validating and facilitating approach. You will act as first line for front-office allocation queries and ensure balance sheet certification and substantiation. You will perform monthly review and substantiation of all assigned balance sheet accounts.

The role demands a superior knowledge of all aspects of IT finance, garnered through extensive experience working within an information technology finance organization with responsibilities covering accounting, financial analysis and reporting. The candidate should have a good working knowledge of common accounting governance practices, financial processes and systems utilized within an IT finance group. In addition, the candidate needs to have superior management skills that allow them to lead and challenge their staff to perform at maximum capabilities.
