An Operations Control Unit Manager is currently required for our client; a leading financial services group and a prestigious international investment bank with worldwide reach. The firm provides a broad range of innovative solutions tailored to the specific requirements of individual, institutional, corporate and government clients through an international network across the globe.
The operations control and regulatory team sits within the operations control department. Its primary responsibility is to ensure the integrity of the control and regulatory environment through the build out of a robust control framework supporting the operations division.
Specifically, the unit manager will assist with the build out and implementation of the operations control strategy. They will have functional oversight of key business controls, and will perform analysis of current control metrics landscape for completeness and to ensure "best practice". They will proactively identify potential hotspots, and ensure regulatory compliance (i.e. SOx controls and accounts verification process)
The ideal candidate will have a solid operations control background with a proven track record for enhancement. They will be self-motivated and highly organised, with strong communication skills across levels of the organisation.
