Our client is a well known investment management firm with a requirement for an experienced Fund Accountant on an interim basis.

The role is to ensure delivery of consistently accurate and timely daily prices for the OEIC and UT range of funds and deliver project and change in accordance with company's strategic objectives.

Main Responsibilities include:

* Undertake monitoring of processes and controls as requested by the CIS Pricing and Projects Manager to ensure the delivery of consistently accurate and timely daily prices by making sure issues are escalated in a timely manner and appropriate and timely remedial actions are taken, including changes to the level of monitoring.

* Undertake validation checks on daily prices to ensure the accuracy of prices delivered to the end customer, Client Services, and that any out of tolerance movements are justified prior to release.

* Where requested to do so, monitor the application of accounting policies and changes in accounting policies, ensuring these are being correctly applied and that any errors in their application are identified and addressed in a timely manner.

* Perform analytical reviews of monthly fund trial balances, as requested by the CIS Pricing and Projects Manager, ensuring results are in line with expectation and any unexpected movements are identified and resolved in a timely manner and are communicated to all interested parties.

* Be aware of and ensure consistent application of the Pricing Issue Decision Matrix.

* Delivery quarterly OEIC Consolidation information in accordance with Finance reporting timetables and resolve queries in a timely manner.

* Support the CIS Pricing & Financial Accounting Senior Manager in overseeing the relationship with third party administrators by providing input where necessary to influence their performance where Service Levels fall below those required to meet the obligations to customers.

* Produce timely and accurate KPI's and Dashboards to monitor service levels from service providers and to clients.

* Ensure all identified controls for the function, including Sarbanes Oxley, are being consistently applied and any agreed actions to improve controls are implemented in a timely manner.

To be considered you will have the following:

* Accounting knowledge and experience
* Strong technical knowledge
* OEIC & UT fund pricing knowledge & experience
* Knowledge of current UK Regulations relating to Fund Management
