An Assistant Manager is required for the Confirmations team of one of the world's largest and most recognised investment banks. The role is based in their London Docklands offices.


The assistant manager will ultimately be managing the FX derivatives trade confirmation team. They will be responsible for providing subject matter expertise, ensuring timely dispatch of confirmations, affirmation and chasing, drafting of structured deals and compliance with both industry and internal targets. The FX business is embarking on a phase of aggressive growth and transition and the incumbent will be expected to ensure the team adapts to change and can meet and anticipate the requirements of the business.


Specifically, the assistant manager will provide input and guidance to future initiatives within FX derivatives that affect the confirmation team. They will manage appropriate controls in conjunction with internal and external regulations, and provide daily and monthly MI to senior management.


Previous experience of FX derivative confirmations is essential. You will have proven management skills within an operations environment, and an ability to demonstrate understanding of FED targets for FX derivatives.
