Interest Rate Derivative Trade Support - City of London - £20-£25 Per hour

A leading financial services group, who are very well considered in London seeks a driven Interest Rate Derivative Trader Assistant to join their Middle Office team.

This role offers an exceptional opportunity to join a hard-working team, with excellent opportunities for personal growth and development. The position will play a key role in the department and will give the successful candidate excellent exposure to the front office.

As a successful Interest Rate Trader Assistant, you will be responsible for:
* Responsible for supporting the Rates Bond Trading desk from execution to settlement.
* Monitoring settlements in Euroclear or Domestic - liaising with settlements team in London and US.
* Resolving discrepancies from TRAX.
* Monitoring UST business using GSCC and US systems
* Working closely with traders to ensure that risk management is correctly reflected by trade bookings & assisting traders on Product queries & Corporate actions.
* Liaising with European Branches, Clients, Market Makers and Brokers for settlement queries, trade issues and confirmation problems.
* Control functions: System reconciliation's e.g. Front end system positions tie in with main frame books and records.
* Liaising with the Finance department to ensure correct P/L is reported.

Previous Interest Rate Middle Office experience is essential.
