Our client, a leading financial services firm, are looking for a Head of Data Management to join their team in Edinburgh.

The role holder will work within a business facing function, heading up a team of five analysts responsible for articulating and delivering a data strategy across the organisation.

Responsibilities will include taking full ownership and delivery of a robust data strategy and managing a team of data analysts. You will establish SLA's with all key customers and deliver a proactive service, building and maintaining all 3rd party data vendor relationships. In addition, you will work with external and internal stakeholders to enable successful delivery and promote a strong data ownership culture. You will be required to use excellent communication skills to present, report on progress and influence decisions at a senior level and participate in the prioritisation of resources and budgets to meet objectives.

Candidates should have data management experience within financial services and a detailed knowledge of investment management. You should have a professional attitude with an imaginative and proactive approach and an ability to think strategically. Excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills are essential, as is the ability to be flexible and work as part of a team. People management experience is also crucial.
