Our Client has more than 119 years of experience providing fiduciary services including investment management, trustee and custody services to institutional and individual investors, they are looking for a RFP Writer to join their growing team in London.

Specifically the role of the RFP Writer within this Custodian will be reporting to the Head of RFP & Sales Support, the successful candidate will be responsible for writing accurate, compelling and client focused RFP responses as part of the new business process in the EMEA and Asia Pacific regions.
With good industry knowledge and demonstrating high motivation and initiative, he/she will liaise closely with departments to co-ordinate information, whilst developing a thorough knowledge of the company's products, strategies, structure and unique selling points to add value to the RFP production process. With the experience and confidence in writing new material, our ideal candidate will also be involved in interpretation of market research and competitor information and providing updated and new responses for strategies and product ranges.

Daily tasks within the role of RFP Writer include:

- Undertake the completion of RFP's and other questionnaires (pre-tenders, RFI's, client due-diligence) for investment consultants, prospects and clients in a timely manner
- Understand client needs and respond accordingly by customising standard responses
- Interact with relevant teams such as performance measurement and product managers for current data
- Follow team procedures ensuring relevant approvals are obtained before delivery of the final document
- Develop close working relationship with sales and client teams to identify opportunities and support the sales process when necessary
- Research and collate information on key areas or strategies identified by sales and marketing teams for product focus
- Liaise regularly with product and portfolio managers to gain thorough technical knowledge of selected strategy
- Create, and subsequently develop, comprehensive overviews within RFP database software
- Maintain dialogue with US-based RFP team and product managers to ensure global consistency
- Maintain firm and product information on external consultant databases

To be considered for the role of RFP Writer within this Custodian you must be able to demonstrate the following skills:

- Investment or financial industry experience within a marketing, communications or RFP role essential
- Prior exposure to RFP Software preferential (RFP Express, RFP Machine)
- Strong working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Experience and confidence in writing new material
- Proficiency with statistical information
- Excellent communication and analysis skills
- Meticulous attention to detail with an emphasis on consistency and accuracy
- Excellent organisation skills, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Investment Management Certificate a distinct advantage (or willingness to study towards it)

The successful candidate for the role of RFP Writer within this Custodian is likely to have at least one year of relevant experience and it is imperative that this has been gained in a financial environment.
