• Rates & FX Product Controller, London

• City of London GBP60,000 - GBP70,000 p/a Permanent

Our client, a top tier Investment Bank is currently seeking an Rates & FX Product Controller to join the Rates & FX Product Control department, based in London

Responsibilities Include:
* Member of a team responsible for performing month end and quarter end production tasks, (including Account Ownership, MIS report creation, flash reporting, adjusting and accrual journal entries, GL queries, restatements, data structure changes, ABM functional model ownership).
* Member of a team responsible for annual Budgets and monthly Forecast creation including entry of data into Budgeting/Forecasting Systems and Budget/Forecast Reporting to line Function
* Ensure culture exists within team supervised which enables processes and procedures to be questioned. Understand and apply escalation routes into internal Continuous Improvement or Transformation groups. Support testing of new processes and procedures (UAT)
* Extend awareness of risks associated with the business supported and incorporate risk planning and mitigation into work
* Supervise small groups with an indicative span of control of 2-3 people, responsible for quality of work and resource mgt

To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with previous experience in Rates and FX. Previous experience of working in Product Control within an Investment Bank would be advantageous.
