Our client, a leading investment management firm, is looking for an Investment Accounting Services Finance Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis.

The role holder will support the IAS team acting as an interface between multiple internal customers and external suppliers to ensure that customers are provided with quality investment data within agreed timescales.

Responsibilities will include reconciling and reviewing key investment data received, ensuring accounting deliverables are received on time and attending meetings to support the IAS team to maintain and enhance productive working relationships with customers. In addition you will assist with the month end deliverable review process and assist the IAS team with finance projects. You will also review and investigate issues assigned and mange them to resolution with the assistance of a team accountant.

Candidates must have accounting experience gained within the financial sector and financial accounting skills, such as double entry bookkeeping, reconciliations, incomplete records, balance sheet, profit and loss and accruals. You must also have a comprehensive knowledge of fund accounting, cash management and investment operations processes as well as a strong background in investment administration. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and excellent communication skills are essential. This role would suit a highly organised individual with excellent time management skills who can work well under pressure to tight deadlines.
