Our client, a leading investment management firm, is looking for an Investment Operations Assistant to join their team.

The role holder will maintain clients' portfolios and reconcile clients' assets against custodian records.

Responsibilities will include the reconciliation of daily holdings against custodian records, updating client accounting records for cash movements and the resolution of outstanding differences on client accounts. In addition you will ensure clients' assets are fully reconciled against custodian records and that all trades are accurately checked in a timely manner. You will also ensure that notifications are received daily via the Bloomberg feed from Eagle and that there is accurate distribution of instructions to stock champions. Additionally you will accurately record stock champion decisions on Eagle and ensure all corporate actions are authorised and checked in accordance with SAS 70 requirements.

Candidates must have a working knowledge of online custodian websites as well as Microsoft Office works, Eagle, Charles River and Portal. You must also have experience of corporate actions and investment operations within the financial sector. Excellent communication skills, the ability to prioritise, work well under pressure to tight deadlines and strong attention to detail are all essential.
