A leading global investment bank is looking to hire a Project focused Risk Manager with a proven track record of project delivery and operational experience to work within their Risk Mitigation team based in London.

The Team is a new and expanding global team within Divisional Risk Management (part of Operations Risk Management), which is required to work very closely with Operations (Senior Management and Business Unit Heads), Internal Audit, Compliance, Operational Risk Management & Analysis (ORMA), Regulatory, Compliance Testing and Information Security.

Your responsibilities will include, but limited to:

Identify new risks in Operations' processing for which there are currently no mitigating controls in place.
Perform an analysis of a recently implemented process or mitigating control to ensure it has been fully and consistently implemented across Operations.
Challenge and test aspects of the Risk and Control Framework (RQ, Self Assessment, Incident Reporting etc) to ensure they are being correctly implemented and act as effective tools for tracking, measuring and reducing risk in Operations
Examine the Risk and Control Frameworks / Models used in other industries with a view to identifying best practices which could potentially be adopted by Operations.

You will be degree educated or equivalent with practical experience of both Operations Line Management and a Risk Control. You will also have strong proven banking / finance experience post graduation.
