Our client, a major investment management firm, is looking for a Compliance Analyst to join their team on a temporary basis.

The role holder will monitor the operation of key controls, ensure all funds have both pre & post trade rules set up on a Charles River system and review all manual BAU tasks & asses if they can be monitored on a Charles River system.

Responsibilities will include assisting in the development and execution of test plans and strategies to provide assurance that they are operational as well as monitoring funds on a daily basis to ensure they are in compliance with relevant regulations. In addition you will review and test the pre & post trade rules for all equity funds and establish a universal rule for each fund with procedures on how these should be maintained going forward. You will also complete training on rule writing and coding and assist with user training on a Charles River system. Additionally you will enhance, develop and maintain a general risk and compliance culture and awareness.

Candidates must have experience of compliance within the financial sector and a comprehensive knowledge of a Charles River system. An awareness of UK and overseas regulations applicable to the investment management business and experience of identifying risks and appropriate controls is desirable. Experience in developing and executing test plans to provide assurance that key controls are operational is advantageous.
