Our client, one of the worlds leading investment banks, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join a front office focused change team. This role is to support a global initiative to deploy a new MIS tool across all Trading and Coverage business areas.

The aim of the programme is to build a MIS platform that will help deliver key business data via three primary capabilities:
* Report Library that provides business controlled data repository that delivers metrics via template uploads and includes user notification for new reports
* Dash Board capability that allows drill-down and/or historical retrieval
* Alertboard that features key business metrics and allows navigation to reports or other systems

The successful applicant for this role will be responsible for the following:

* Effectively manage complex global programs of work
* Production of deliverables; scoping documents (PIDs), project plans, financials (budgets, benefits), risks & issue tracker, stakeholder /governance structures
* Draft business scoping / requirements analysis
* Facilitate &/or produce functional & technical requirements documentation
* Run the project/work stream working groups to co-ordinate Daily /weekly/monthly progress tracking. Ensure standard and accurate project status reporting.
* Escalation of project issues to management/steering committees, inclusive of tracking and if required managing issue resolution.
* Facilitation of these senior forums meetings
* Work with all internal service providers (Operations, Technology, Compliance, Tax, Legal, Infrastructure, Controlling/Finance) and Senior Management from the business to execute necessary policy, process and technology change
* Where external resources are engaged; create the structure of their engagement and monitor the progress/delivery
* Where 3rd Parties are involved, facilitate/ensure contracts are in order
* Provide project assurance, audit & assistance to GM projects in flight / failing

This role requires an experienced financial services management consultant having spanned multiple clients and subjects. You should be conversant with terminologies & concepts relating to Front Office products (e.g. Equities Trading, Foreign Exchange, Research, Rates, Distressed Products, Emerging Markets, Equity Proprietary Trading Prime Brokerage).

Excellent communication skills, high levels of common sense and a genuine commitment to add value will be essential.
