• Business Operations Officer

• West End GBP12.00 - GBP15.00 p/hr Temporary

Our client, Headquartered in London, is looking for a Business Operations Officer. This Asset Managers is part of one of the largest banking and financial services organisations in the world. Through an international network linked by advanced technology, including a rapidly growing e-commerce capability, they provide a comprehensive range of financial services: personal financial services; commercial banking; corporate, investment banking and markets; private banking; and other activities.

The position is located within the Business Operations team of the discretionary private client business. Clients are predominately high net worth individuals who have assets of £500k to £3m to invest, the business also have trusts, charities, pension schemes and companies as clients.

Daily tasks within the role of Business Operations Officer include:

- Initially the role will be to initiate/complete several small projects related to KYC, W8 BEN renewals and static data
- responsible for client portfolio opening, closing, stock transfers in/out
- ISA administration
- Static data amendments
- Internet portal access set up/deletion and W8 BEN documentation processing.

To be considered for the role of Business Operations Officer within this Asset Managers you must be able to demonstrate the following skills:

- Dynamic, with a flair for customer service
- Highly motivated self starter who can work either supervised or on their own
- Proactive individual with a 'can do' attitude
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to influence/persuade at all levels, including management
- Previous experience in a client facing role , preferably from a private client background
- Knowledge of W8 BEN requirements
