Our client, a leading financial services firm, is looking for a Project Manager to join their team.

The role holder will support the business in achieving its strategic goals by following agreed project management methodology across all projects. You will also provide clear concise project reporting on all phases of projects and ensure that projects deliver the desired benefits. In addition you will perform business analysis, including facilitation, process analysis and process improvement and provide training and guidance as required.

Responsibilities will include providing best practice project management; ensuring projects are delivered on time and to budget, making sure that every project has a business case, project initiation document, plan, risk and issues log, and that projects are allocated the appropriate level of governance. You will also ensure the delivery of benefit to the business by identifying the associated costs and benefits for individual proposed projects as well as making sure that business benefits are reviewed at appropriate times. Additionally, you will refine, develop and provide training as required on project management methodology and provide high quality management reporting.

Candidates must possess the appropriate professional qualification (Prince, APM, etc) and have experience of project management within the financial services industry. A strong track record of delivering project objectives under pressure and experience of managing cross functional project teams is essential. Excellent negotiation and communication skills are crucial.
