A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Business Development Consultant to join a busy investment management firm in Edinburgh.

The role holder will establish credibility and trust with clients by building and maintaining positive working relationships through outbound telephone activity. You will primarily be involved in initiating contact with IFAs and measured on the quality of results.

Responsibilities will include acting as a dedicated point of contact for own panel of accounts on all retail fund queries, providing timely and relevant investment information on product launches, ongoing changes to products and special offers to a targeted panel. You will also be proactive in sourcing relevant fund information and communicating to the IFAs as well as seeking opportunities for improving the quality of information and service offered.

Candidates must have previous business development experience of a regulatory environment, investment strategy and investment products within the investment market. An awareness of key players and competitors in the investment market is essential. IMC and AFPC qualifications preferred. Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills are crucial.
