Our client, one of the worlds leading investment banks, is seeking and experienced Business Analyst/Junior Project Manager to join their Debt Trading Business. The Distressed Debt Trading business has its own loan and bond trading books and predominantly buys and sells corporate loans. This business is aligned next to the Loan Trading Documentation team.

This team now requires an individual to join the Project Management group that support the Distressed Trading Loan Servicing.

Responsibilities include:

* Providing research and clarity to assist in driving the implementation of projects and initiatives within Loans. This will cover a broad spectrum of initiatives, both organisation-wide and within EMEA.
* Business Analysis and documentation of requirements and process flows for EMEA initiatives impacting Loans, including, process enhancements and report requirements
* Potentially some project management tasks to drive projects to completion
* Support Loan IQ enhancement testing, such as Loan IQ Upgrades, Quarterly Service Packs and custom enhancements
* Support migration of loan positions from legacy platform to Loan IQ
* Report writing to drive out clear requirements to enable accurate project decisions
* Working with Technology, Middle Office and Finance and providing some Project Management oversight
* Support co-ordination of User Integration and parallel testing.

This important and vital role requires someone who has ideally had some detailed exposure to driving out business requirements in a complex and dynamic environment. You will also require experience of project management.

The successful applicant will possess a high level of Loans Administration experience and have strong working knowledge of MS Project.

Excellent communication skills and high levels of common sense are also required.
