• Business Analyst - Transitions

• City of London GBP500 - GBP550 day Interim

An experienced buy side Business Analyst is required to join an existing project team focused on transitioning Institutional client funds from one 3rd party provider to another. This extensive piece of work within a leading Investment house is likely to be a long term contract assignment, as you join the Transitions & Conversions Work Stream which focuses predominantly on the Fund Accounting and Custody Conversion from the current provider to the new provider, covering the planning and execution of joint testing, conversions dry runs, parallel runs, and the conversions themselves.

Specifically, the successful candidate will be required to conduct detailed analysis to identify the Business requirements for conversion parallel runs, documenting detailed business requirements and associated process flows, and conduct analysis to identify the Business requirements to test the Conversion Parallel Runs. You will need to work effectively within the project team, supporting the project manager, programme manager and other team members, liaising with business leads, other key business representatives and appropriate third parties to ensure accurate and appropriate analysis is carried out. Therefore you will have detailed analytical skills which can be used in a pragmatic and client oriented way, an ability to manage relationships internally, coupled with detailed knowledge of Relationship and Supplier Management within the fund management sector. You will also have a strong understanding of the Investment Administration and Fund Accounting processes, an understanding of business process modelling, requirements definition and Conversion support (planning, execution ), and past experience in business analysis for a large scale conversion, transitions or outsourcing project.
