• Business Analyst, Derivative / Fixed Income

• City of London GBP450 - GBP550 day Interim

Our client, one of the leading European investment banks, is seeking an experience Business Analyst who has strong derivatives or fixed income experience.

This Business Analyst will be responsible for performing all process, systems, and data analysis, as well as lead the business requirement capture process in order to successfully replace the banks current platform and all related processes. The Business Analyst will perform a thorough current process and systems analysis and identify all pain points that exist in the environment and then perform a mapping exercise to determine how the issues can be addressed by the business.

Responsibilities:

* Capture, consolidate, and communicate the information to the SMEs during definition phase.
* Work closely with all SMEs including Sales Support, Trade Support Line Managers, Client Services, Priority Clients
* Create current state and future state process flow and data/systems flow diagrams
* Collaborate with technology to ensure that requirements are clearly, completely communicated.
* Communicate any scope creep issues to the Project Manager.
* Create, maintain, perform version control, own the Business Requirements Document.
* Effectively 'bridge the gap' between the business and the software development team by clearly communicating business needs, as well as understanding technology limitations, if any.
* Identify and resolve conflicting requirements by getting SME's together to agree on conflicts.
* "Own" the process flow maps; capture changes on future state diagram as they are made.
Run UAT meetings

We are seeking an experience Business Analyst who has solid experience of fixed income or derivative asset classes. Excellent communication skills are essential and is a "can do" attitude. Strong working knowledge of MS Visio, is also required.
