• Securitisation Balance Sheet Manager

• City of London GBP68,000 - GBP80,000 p/a Permanent

Our client is a top tier investment bank with a requirement for a Securitisation Balance Sheet Manager to ensure timely, accurate, fully substantiated and compliant financial and management reporting of the ABS Investment business, through day-to-day management of a team of product controllers

Responsibilities Include:
* Daily p&l and balance sheet substantiation of the general ledger
* Preparation of consolidated IFRS accounts & submission of Group disclosures
* Effective communication with stakeholders and other support teams
* Provide the business with timely accurate daily and monthly financial information, from which to monitor their business and on which to base business decisions
* Delivery of fully substantiated ledger p&l and balance sheet on a daily basis
* Ensure financials can be fully explained in terms of business and market drivers to all stakeholders
* Provide a flexible accurate timely service to all stakeholders, including the Front Office, Finance and Risk, working in conjunction with the rest of product control, Operations and IT

To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will possess an Accounting Qualification along with extensive Product control experience from major investment bank within Fixed Income, Credit and/ or Structured Credit, IFRS accounting knowledge will be considered an advantage (hedging, p&l recognition, securitisation) along with demonstrated ability to implement change, particularly in improvement of controls, automation, solid product knowledge and Market awareness.
