• Property Fund Accountant

• City of London GBP40,000 - GBP50,000 p/a Permanent

Our client is a leading Global Asset Management Institution currently seeking a Property Fund Accountant to be responsible for providing Fund services support as well as assisting the Head of Fund Accounting in providing supervision to team members.

Responsibilities include:
* Produce statutory reporting, board papers, Net Asset Value and Income calculations for UK and Offshore Institutional funds
* Liaise with other operational areas, internal clients and external parties on matters relating to day to day operations
* To develop a good understanding of all role requirements for both Institutional (Property) and Retail (Bonds and Equities) funds
* Assist the Head of Fund Accounting through implementing changes to working practices and procedures so as to improve individual/team performance and efficiency and reduce operational risk
* To build and develop good working relationships between the team and its internal/external clients and suppliers
* Report on and escalate issues or problems which fall outside agreed service standards
* Provide guidance and supervision to team

To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with knowledge and experience of all major aspects within Property Funds and Financial Services operations. You will possess strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to explain involved concepts in a concise manner to others within the organisation.
