• City of London GBP300 - GBP400 day Interim

Our client, one of the worlds leading investment banks, is seeking an experience Project/Change Manager who has experience within a product control or P'n'L environment.

This opportunity sits within team that has overall responsibility for managing regional and global change across business process, data and technology for the finance group. It is responsible for partnering with IT to deliver technology change to the line function for all global market businesses, and regularly works across a number of areas including the Front Office and Operations to implement strategic cross-functional projects.

Purpose of the role:

* Materially reduce Financial Reporting and Operational Risk
* Materially increase levels of control and transparency to downstream processes
* Improve consistency between Financial and Regulatory Reporting
* Facilitate further off-shoring opportunities for standardised pieces of process
* Remove residual dependencies on non-IT sanctioned tools and platforms

Responsibilities:

* Involvement in all finance control change streams as a project management resource
* Input across all phases of each initiative's change life-cycle from project initiation through design, build, test and deployment
* Creation and maintenance of all core documentation packages relating to each project
* Partnering with associated teams in other business functions and regions
* Advisory role as part of the project deliveries providing support throughout the implementation phase to all relevant line personnel
* Liaison with other projects as appropriate

To be considered for this opportunity you will need to possess relevant Investment Banking or Consultancy experience. A good understanding of basic accounting concepts: financial statements, reporting, cut-off, accounting principles will be required gained from either a line role or projects position. Applicants with good OTC product knowledge will be preferred.
