• Communications Project Manager

• Docklands GBP20.00 - GBP22.00 p/hr Temporary

Our client, Headquartered in London, is looking for a Communications Project Manager .This Private Bank is part of one of the largest banking and financial services organisations in the world. Through an international network linked by advanced technology, including a rapidly growing e-commerce capability, they provide a comprehensive range of financial services: personal financial services; commercial banking; corporate, investment banking and markets; private banking; and other activities.

Specifically the role of the Communications Project Manager within the Private Bank is to assist the management of the Private Bank annual reports through all stages, from liaising with the design team, to briefing in content to designers, to checking design materials against original content proposals, to final production.

Daily tasks within the role of the Communications Project Manager include:

- Proofing and checking English and French annual reports
- Assist in organising distribution and shipment of annual reports and carry out the related administrative tasks
- Assist the global MarComms Manager in any other ad hoc task related to annual reports
- To assist the Global Marketing and Communications Manager
- To ensure the designers responsible for designing the annual reports have all of the up to date content they require
- Liaison with external suppliers such as proofreaders
- Liaison with the regions to ensure the annual report delivery details are correct and the printers have all of the details they require
- Liaison with the print manager responsible for producing the print versions of the annual report
- Liaison with the global e- business team to ensure they have the correct versions of the on-line version of the annual report
- Awareness of local brand, communications and compliance regulations and compliance with these standards
- Cultural sensitivity observed when developing communications for global consumption
- Understands, follows and demonstrates compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which the jobholder is involved, specifically Internal Controls and any Compliance policy including, inter alia, the Group Compliance policy

To be considered for the role of Communications Project Manager within the Private Bank you must be able to demonstrate the following skills:

- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Proven experience in marketing communications project management
- Understanding of design and production processes
- Familiarity with the Financial Services industry, ideally within the Private Banking/Wealth Management sector
- Experience in a branding/design agency would be a bonus
- Multilingual - English and French
- Proofreading experience in English and French
- Computer literate - advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills. Experience with Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign would be an advantage
- Very strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work under pressure and multi-task
- Service oriented to uphold the good reputation of the Global Communications team
- Able to manage the more routine elements of the role effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills, flexibility and a team player

The successful candidate for the role of Communications Project Manager within the Private Bank is likely to have proven experience in marketing communications project management and be multilingual - English and French.
