• Product Controller, Commodities Derivatives

• City of London GBP50,000 - GBP55,000 p/a Permanent

Our client is a European leader in Investment Banking and they are currently seeking a Product Controller to join the Global Equities and Commodity Derivatives Division responsible for encompassing all valuation issues (external price testing, valuation adjustment and methodologies, pricing methodologies), risk limits and trader mandate follow up on Trading activities covering all vanilla and exotic options, hybrids, quantitative strategy, risk managed funds and equity financing.

Responsibilities include:
* Perform and report the independent price verification to ensure that trading positions are marked correctly (market parameters review, price testing, and valuation adjustments)
* Risk Limits and trader mandate follow up: monitor limits breaches for investigation and analysis of the results on the books in the light of the mandates of the traders
* Control the good use of the models and their parameter setting for the calculation of the official results
* Maintain, review and document the cartographies of market data, cross with controls.


To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will be educated to a degree level with a specialisation in finance, possess strong proven experience within an investment bank, in a risk or finance valuation control, or equivalent market experience, good knowledge of commodity derivatives products along with good communication, quantitative and analytic skills.
