• Treasury Product Controller

• City of London GBP35,000 - GBP45,000 p/a Permanent

Our client, a leading Global Financial Services Provider currently seek a Treasury Product Controller to provide product, accounting and financial support to the Treasury division and all other departments within the Treasury Department remit

Responsibilities Include:
* Working with the Treasury Product Control Manager in a high focus area to ensure a highly professional level of service is received by all clients
* Month-end reconciliation of balance sheet and PL accounts. Providing information to various units within and outside of Finance, working within a pre-defined time-line and ensuring all accounting is correct
* Process review and enhancement on an ongoing basis to provide more timely and accurate production of data for the business enabling greater analysis and understanding
* Work with Treasury Control Manager in developing a daily P&L for Treasury to implement in 2010 - covering P&L components, reporting, format etc
* Adding value to the various projects that are part of the TPC remit, and being part of a change process that is affecting the whole business in a highly visible role
* Escalation of issues to Manager, along with ideas for change and improvement


To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will be a part qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with previous exposure to Treasury products - either working in a Treasury Product Control function or within Treasury, with knowledge of accounting for Treasury products. The candidate needs to be analytical and highly motivated, with good interpersonal skills.
