• Balance Sheet Reporting

• City of London GBP55,000 - GBP65,000 p/a Permanent

Our client are a top tier investment bank based in London who currently seek an experienced individual to join their Global Banking and Markets department to work with Product Control line individuals to ensure accounts are correctly assigned and allocated


Responsibilities include:
* Preparation of the monthly balance sheet certificate
* Effective Balance Sheet Substantiation process
* Assist in identifying and implementing process/systems changes
* Information is produced in a timely and accurate fashion with relevant and understandable supporting commentary
* All balances have been reviewed and substantiated and any certified amounts have an accompanying action plan which describes how they will be addressed
* Number of outstanding alerts and aged analysis of the alerts performed monthly
* Works effectively within the Accounting Control team
* Builds and maintain a strong communication network with key stakeholders in the Finance and Operations teams
* Ensuring that within the Accounting Control team there is succession planning, talent management, performance management and improved employee engagement


To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) with either Banking previous or a strong newly qualified ACA looking for first step into Banking
