• Business Analyst (Technical), Asset Servicing

• City of London GBP500 - GBP600 day Interim

We are currently recruiting for an experienced technical Business Analyst who possess a strong background in Asset Servicing (corporate actions and dividends). Our client is one of the worlds leading banks.

The programme has been established to enhance the levels of automation for Asset Services processing for the equity business. It covers the end to end lifecycle for dividends and corporate actions (event capture, entitled positions, notifications, elections, bookings, payments etc).

The Business Analyst is required to document requirements and define solutions across the global Asset Services business. This includes dividends, event management, notifications, elections management and other processes.
The platform that is being created is a key strategic component for a number of business lines, including Prime Services, and will enable business re-engineering within Investment Banking Operations.

The business analysts will report to project managers as well as the Asset Services IT Functional Architect and will be responsible for defining functional solutions for their projects.

Responsibilities include:

* Working with the Asset Services functional architect and the wider project teams to define functional solutions
* Working with development teams on designs, implementation and testing
* Liaison with user teams globally
* Providing estimates and timescales and input to planning for project managers

The business analysts will form close working relationships with the programme functional architect, project managers, development team leads, vendors and IT partners and the operational change team.

The successful applicant will possess a detailed knowledge of dividend processing gained in either a custody or investment banking environment. You will also be an experienced technical Business Analyst and have a strong IT projects background. Experience of Agile techniques, and SCRUM would be a great advantage.
