An experienced Investment Accountant required for a prestigious investment management company who is expanding its Edinburgh operations. Both a temporary and permanent post are on offer as they are looking to strengthen their team.

The Assistant Manager Investment Accounting will be a play a key role in supporting the manager in ensuring a quality service is delivered to clients and ensure all process are controlled and risk is minimised. You will work as part of a dynamic team producing a wide range of analysis of the funds and their investments. You will be responsible for producing and monitoring a number of complex reports and processes. This role will also involve managing relationships with a variety of internal and external customers.

To be considered for the excellent opportunity as an Investment Accountant you should have a sound knowledge of IFRS for financial instruments and derivatives. You will have a good knowledge of fixed income assets including credit ratings, yields and spreads. It is essential that you advanced knowledge of excel and the ability to write or maintain macros.
