Position- Investment Accountant-Edinburgh
Contract: 9 months Fixed Term

A Qualified Accountant required for a leading investment management organisation on a 9 month contract to join their Investment Accounting Services Team. As an Investment Accountant you will work as part of small dynamic team responsible for building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers. You will ensure the quality and accuracy of investment accounting data, issues management and query resolution within agreed timescales.

As an Investment Accountant key accountabilities will include:

-To review and challenge key investment data received
-Ensure quality of accounting deliverables received and their compliance with relevant reporting standards and policies
-Create, maintain and enhance productive working relationships with customers at all levels
-Respond to ad-hoc queries from customers, both internal and external
-Review and investigate issues assigned and manage them to resolution
-Constructively challenge existing processes/activities with a view to implementing process improvements


To be considered for this excellent opportunity as an investment Accountant it is essential that you are a Qualified Accountant with experience, preferably gained within an investment management administration or control environment. You will have an awareness of investments, funds and regulatory accounting standards.
