• Test Manager - Product Control

• City of London GBP400 - GBP450 day Interim

A leading banking group requires an experienced Testing Manager to work within their Product Control's Change Management Team. This team was established with the responsibility of building up the capability of Product Control and its IT infrastructure, and the role focuses specifically on a system migration project for the Rates and Structured Derivatives business. Specifically the individual will be required to plan, document, and manage the programme of testing for the above said system migration project on behalf of the Product Control function, alongside reviewing all aspects of their business operational model for the Rates and Structured Derivatives business,
with the goal of streamlining it's operating platforms and processes to ensure it is well positioned for future growth and momentum. Specific duties of the role will include creating testing strategy, co-ordinate testing process and prepare relevant test scripts/test cases, defining relevant entry and exit criteria for testing phases and managing the test execution required by Product Controllers. Additionally this will involve identifying and reporting testing issues and risks, attending project and testing meetings acting on behalf of Product Control, and providing feedback to the development team to ensure the work is carried out in accordance with the schedule. The successful candidate will require an excellent understanding of test management methodology, processes and documentation, prior experience in Product Control test management, knowledge of the Rates business (Swaps, Options, Structured products), with a basic understanding of Equities. You will also require strong verbal and written communication skills, be able to work with minimum of supervision and have good people skills- ie an ability to work with users, IT and other relevant stakeholders.
