Our client is a leading institution who is currently looking for a Senior Manager to assist the Director of Group Strategic Financial Planning to provide key analysis to support the Group Board, Executive Committee, GMC, Limited Change Board, SA PDX and GITSC in their decision making processes.


Responsibilities include:
* Ownership of the Medium Term Financial Plan.
* Formulating underlying assumptions, data gathering, development and maintenance.
* Assisting with general planning and budgeting.
* Compiling and maintaining revenue projections.
* Ownership of the rolling project and programme budget.
* Collating and maintaining the budget on an ongoing basis.
* Advising on the impact of changes to business plans including tariffs, volumes, and costs.
* Creating and evaluating models as required and producing ad-hoc reporting.
* Preparing and providing financial information for competition authorities, regulators, advisors etc as required.
* Preparing interactive annual plan for the regulator.
* Produce ad-hoc reports as required.
* Preparing regulatory capital forecasts.
* Evaluating the impact of strategic initiatives on the Groups regulatory capital position.


To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA / CIMA or equivalent) with financial modelling experience, possess sound understanding of IAS / IFRS - particularly impairment along with knowledge of IT change management and project methodology as well as financial planning experience - budgets / medium term plans / corporate valuation / discounted cashflows.
