A global investment bank is seeking a Coal Logistics Operations professional to work in their work within their Logistics team based in London.

The role involves:

* Scheduling and management of coal contracts
* Using commercial understanding to optimise these contracts against shorts with internal assets and/or external counterparties.
* Management of internal supply contracts with internal desks and power stations.
* Establishing and operating an extensive quality control process and resolving quality disputes.
* Establishing and building strong working relationships with external counterparties both domestically and internationally.
* Settling of laytime statements, invoices etc.
* Setting-up the internal logistics process and development of a logistics system for the desk.

You will have solid experience in physical Coal logistics operations and stevedores and agents. If you have broad knowledge of dry products and markets and demonstrates the ability to drive project success and process efficiency as well as to secure cooperation from other areas as necessary, please apply.
