• Management Accountant

• City of London GBP45,000 - GBP55,000 p/a Permanent

Our client is a leading Investment Manager who currently seek a Management Accountant to focus primarily on forecast modelling and budget reporting of the consolidated Group results. The successful candidate will share responsibility for delivery of forecast and budget reports in accordance with required standards.

Key responsibilities include:
*Preparing and updating the group forecast model for different scenarios
*Analysing key drivers of the key income and cost lines and providing insightful analysis
*Coordination of core system (HFM) processes - performing validations and data checks to ensure integrity of information in the core reporting systems
*Liaising with reporting entities to deal with any issues arising from their budget submissions
*Coordinating global budget and forecast information for headcount, capital expenditure and project costs
*Undertaking any follow up work to answer questions on the budget and forecast
*Ad hoc analysis of business areas to support resource demands when required

To be considered for this role, you will be a qualified accountant and previous experience in Asset Management/ Financial Services would be advantageous. In addition you will have the ability to demonstrate a high level of awareness of the commercial implications of trends within the financial data as well as analyse process flows and identify areas to improve efficiency.
