Our client, a top tier International Investment Bank, are looking to recruit a high calibre individual will work with IT and run the bank management to define the target process, data and application architecture for client, account and SSI data across the Investment Bank and build consensus for this architecture across all stakeholder groups.

The Data Services Group (DSG) within the Investment Bank is a critical enabler to the various business and logistics functions across the Investment Bank, providing a central source of high quality reference data (including Client, Account, Instrument, Issuer, Pricing, Calendars) to those functions.

The DSG Change function is responsible for setting the strategy, defining the target architecture and managing the organisational, process and technology change across DSG globally, working closely with DSG management, technology, the business and other logistics areas.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for the delivery of a subset of the projects to implement this target architecture, again working closely with IT and RTB management, with a focus on ensuring the business requirements are well understood, the business case is clearly defined and ultimately that the business benefits are realised.

Main responsibilities will be:

· Formulation of strategy/architecture for client data
· Monitoring and participating in industry forums/developments
· Stakeholder management - including regular communications to senior management
· Business case development
· Requirements definition
· Implementation planning
· User Acceptance Testing Co-ordination

Applications will only be considered from candidates that are able to demonstrate the following requirements:

· A graduate with a good honours degree
· Experience of Client Data architectures /organisations within Investment Banks
· Proven ability to manage delivery projects to successful conclusion
· Proven ability to structure high level analysis, develop strategic recommendations and present findings to senior audiences
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Predominantly based in London
