City of London GBP80,000 - GBP90,000 p/a Permanent

Our client is a European leader in Banking and Financial Services who are currently seeking a suitably qualified Market Data Control Manager to be a specialist in product valuation methodologies and processes and to assist teams responsible for P&L production and substantiation.

Key Responsibilities include:
*Ensure that all market parameters controlled by the FI PC function globally are adequately controlled in accordance with the defined policies and guidelines. Contribute to the further development and refinement of these guidelines.
*Directly manage a small team of product control analysts in London performing centralised controls and exception management over vanilla market data and related information.
*Make sure all processes / controls are in place and documented. Co-ordinate month end checks with all of the other parties involved as part of the overall MAP review process.
*Build and maintain relationships with Front Office, Middle Office, R-CM, Finance and other business line PC functions based on trust, respect and professionalism. Provide point of contact for auditor and internal market data queries.
*Contribute to the overall management and other initiatives within FI PCG.

To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will be educated to degree level with previous team management experience within the Valuations space of an Investment Bank. Also required is a good understanding of the range of Fixed Income products (interest rate, FX and credit) and their associated risk sensitivities, along with excellent communication and leadership skills.
