This renowned international investment bank is looking for an experienced Corporate Actions Manager.

The Corporate Actions Department is responsible for event types relating to equity and fixed income products, for the UK, European and Emerging Markets. They manage a variety of clients such as Proprietary Trading, Prime Brokerage, Stock Loan, Yield Enhancement and external counterparties who trade with the bank. The department is responsible for each event throughout its life cycle, including the notification, reconciliation, response tracking, posting entries to books & records, claims processing and risk management.

In order to ensure clients are receiving the best possible level of service it has been identified that a strong Corporate Actions Manager is required.

Responsibilities for this role will include:


*Effectively organise the work of the team
*Carry out the authorisation of market instructions prior to agent deadlines
*Ensure all events are reconciled and processed by the team on the key processing date
*Adhere to controls and procedures to reduce risk
*Identify training requirements for staff and provide them with the tools to develop their ability to carry out their role to a high level of efficiency and accuracy
*Maintain risk within the levels set by the management team
*Meet or exceed SLA standards in relation to query responses
*Monitor performance and provide feedback through regular one-to-one's and appraisals
*Provide input to and support of projects and business initiatives
*Make recommendations and implement process improvements
*Develop relationships with key contacts beyond Asset Services
*Involvement in project work
*Participate in department recruitment

To be considered for this excellent opportunity you will need to currently be managing/leading a high volume corporate actions processing team from another high volume banking environment. Thorough knowledge of European and/or Emerging Markets will be of great benefit and will be the preference. Excellent communication skills will be essential as will a strong understanding of risk and control.
