I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Lloyd's Syndicate for an addition to their Reinsurance department. The successful candidate for the Outwards Reinsurance Technician role will be responsible for supporting and assisting the running of the department, reporting into the Reinsurance Administration Manager, for contracts on Quota Share, Facultative and Excess of Loss business.

The main responsibilities for this role will be;
- Administration of electronic and paper-based outwards reinsurance documentation.
- Input and maintenance of outwards reinsurance contract data.
- Calculation and maintenance of reinsurance reinstatement premiums and premium adjustments.
- Calculate reinsurance recoveries and provide credit control for the recovery of reinsurance claims.
- Event coding of all notified inwards claims.
- Production of data and MI for outwards reinsurance reporting.

The ideal candidate for this role will have excellent numerical skills and the ability to work to tight deadlines. My client is ideally looking for candidate with relevant experience in a similar reinsurance technician role from the Lloyd's Market. Experience using IRIS and LORS would also be advantageous.
