• Structured Credit Product Controller

• City of London GBP60,000 - GBP70,000 p/a Permanent

Our client is a leading global bank with operations in numerous countries. They are currently seeking a Product Controller to join the Global Markets team to supervise the Structured Credit trading desk controllers team.

Key responsibilities include:

*To supervise the production of the daily and monthly P&L to line management. This includes P&L reconciliation, analytical review and reporting.
*To give guidance to team members on product and accounting aspects of structured traded.
*To liaise with stakeholders on assessing potential new structures and to give product control's views on new proposals
*Management of team daily and monthly tasks.
*Point of contact for any finance related issues.
*Prompt management and resolution of key exceptions (off-market rate checking, cash breaks, etc)
*Assessment of structured trades, their booking, valuation and accounting policy
*MIS reporting to line management.
*Documentation of P&L reconciliations and explanations of key differences


To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will be a Qualified Accountant with previous experience in Credit Product control with a Big Four ACA training background. IFRS accounting knowledge and Product knowledge are essential, along with strong Analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
