Interim Claims Manager, LondonUp to £35,000 pro rata

Interim Claims Manager is required for local council based in North London to start immediately to assist the Head of Insurance.

You will be assisting with providing a comprehensive Insurance and Risk Management Service and managing a team providing comprehensive service for handling, investigating and determining Insurance Claims.

Managing staff in a performance focused environment, you will be expected to lead by example, motivate, train and mentor staff.

You will need to demonstrate a very strong technical background in casualty and property claims gained from either an Insurance Company, Local Authority or similar large diverse organisation.

Other essential requirements include strong negotiation skills, knowledge of current relevant case law and insurance market claims handling practice together with experience of managing both internal and external supplier relationships.
