Our client is a leading global bank with operations in numerous countries. They are currently seeking a Newly Qualified ACA or Financial Controller to be responsible for the following responsibilities:

*Responsible for the daily and monthly processes to prepare monthly P&L and B/S for consolidation for Central Finance
*Prepare monthly investor reports, FSA and rating agency reports
*Check the cash positions for these entities
*Prepare Financial Statements within external deadlines
*Cash positions checked each day
*Close and highly effective liaison with the Front Office team
*Liaise with central reporting Finance team
*Act as a point of reference and source of expertise on all aspects of these securitisation transactions.
*Ensure all relevant, previously-raised internal audit points and management letter issues have been addressed so as to avoid a recurrence.
*Minimise queries raised by internal and external auditors
*Minimise recurring internal audit and management letter issues.

To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with previous experience of gained in a Financial control position and the accounting, group consolidation systems as well as experience of statutory accounts preparation along with exposure to financial instruments and related accounting principles
