• AVP Change Analyst Interest Rates Product Control

• City of London GBP60,000 - GBP70,000 p/a Permanent

Our client is a top tier investment bank who are currently seeking a Change Analyst to join the Interest Rates Product Control team in their London office. The Change function directly supports the line and valuations team, working closely with IT development and business managers on all change issues.


Key responsibilities include:
* Detailing product control business requirements and documenting in technical specifications
* UAT testing and ownership of debugging and issues
* Tracking progress and updating to senior management
* Represent PC in project meetings
* Supporting line and valuation PC through migration periods
* Involvement in the development and testing of new business architecture and other projects improving current systems and processes
* Assisting with SOX testing and reporting
* Understanding and documentation of new products and structures through discussions with traders and Structurers

Product Control are the Financial Guardians of the Bank's sales and trading activities. We fulfil this role through:
* Ensuring complete, accurate and timely P&L and Balance Sheets
* The independent validation of our trading positions' valuations
* Evaluating and integrating new products and businesses into our financial environment


To be considered for this role, the candidate will possess an Accounting qualification, along with relevant Financial Instruments or Project Management qualification, preferably in a product control environment, as well as experience in excel, with VBA and Access.
