  • RFP Marketing Analyst

  • Surrey £15.00 - £16.00 p/hr Temporary

Established over 40 years ago and with $300 billion under management, our award winning client is a major global force within the investment management industry. For the right individual, the opportunity now exists to join their Marketing department as an RFP Marketing Analyst based in Surrey.

This role focuses primarily on providing up to date product information for consultant databases and for product updates to wholesale channels such as banks, insurance companies etc. It involves retrieving information from a wide variety of sources, utilising many internal systems, and using this information to ensure that marketing and investment messages are communicated clearly and effectively.

Responsibilities:
- Complete investment product information on external consultant databases
- Take responsibility for particular databases and complete these in a timely and accurate manner
- Produce Regular RFI's tailored to client format
- Maintain investment and marketing data on in-house databases and generating related spreadsheets
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders to the process
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of team processes and systems
- Incorporate appropriate compliance procedures into the process
- Support the risk management process by escalating items as necessary

Key Skills
- Good educational background; degree level preferred but organisational skills more important
- Knowledge of investment management or financial services is preferred
- Well organised and efficient; excellent prioritisation skills
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and on own initiative. Must demonstrate a willingness to take ownership
- Ability to maintain and produce accurate and comprehensive updates to information
- Excellent attention to detail
- Willingness and aptitude to learn about investment products and sales and marketing needs
- Analytical ability to think through an issue independently and escalate as necessary
Computer literacy - strong MS Office skills, particularly Word and Excel (e.g. macros, pivot tables)
- Strong communication skills - written and oral
- Team player. An ability to build close working relationships with other departments is also very important
