• BFC Manager Finance

Our client is a leading global bank with operations in numerous countries. They are currently seeking a Senior Finance Manager. Reporting to the Head Business Financial Control London, you will be responsible for ensuring timely, accurate, compliant financial and management reporting of the London Global Markets and Balance Sheet Management business

Responsibilities include:
*Provide senior management with timely accurate daily and monthly financial information, from which to monitor the business and deliver accurate financial reporting to external stakeholders.
*Daily review of p&l, monthly review of financial view of p&l and balance sheet
*Provide a flexible accurate timely service to all stakeholders, including the Front Office, Finance and Risk, working in conjunction with the rest of product control, Operations and IT
*Monitor operation of control framework around general ledger balances.
*Ensure correct accounting classification for all transactions through analytical review and post-implementation review, in liaison with line controllers.
*Ensure effective communication channels established and maintained, through regular formal and informal dialogue with stakeholders.


To be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will be a Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) with extensive experience in product control/financial control, possess an In-depth knowledge of relevant accounting standards (hedging, p&l recognition, securitisation) and experience in practical implementation along with demonstrated leadership and communication skills.
