• Product Controller - City - London

• City of London £20.00 - £25.00 p/hr Temporary

Our client is a respected investment bank, who employs over 3700 people in 15 countries. Our client is particularly strong in fixed income, infrastructure finance, structured products and foreign exchange. They require a professional Product Controller for the Structured Credit business.


This key role will see you:

*Production of the daily P&L
*Reconciliation of trade, cash and other data on a daily or adhoc basis
*Liaison with Front Office, Middle Office, Operations, and Finance
*Improving daily reporting and MIS to the Front Office.
*Involvement with various adhoc Front and Middle office initiatives, including booking new repackaging deals and unwinding trades.
*Assist with day to day running of straight through processes within the team;
*Assist with production of other P&L's within the team;
*Assist with maintenance of control framework;
*Assist with month end work;
*Balance Sheet Reconciliation and Substantiation



The ideal candidate will be:

*A graduate with a quantitative degree
*Experience in product control/market risk discipline
*Some knowledge of fixed income products, experience of working with Structured, Credit or derivative products in a product control/middle office environment.
*Producing and reporting a daily P&L with attribution, to Front office.
