Excellent opportunity has arisen for a qualified accountant as a Senior Financial Accountant based in the city working for a Global Insurance company.
This role reports in the Head of Regulatory Reporting where you will be overseeing the preparation and completion of various external and internal reports according to UK GAAP including board papers, FSA returns and statutory accounts.
As the senior financial accountant your specific responsibilities will include:
-overseeing the preparation and completion of the quarterly board reports
-overseeing the preparation and completion of the FSA return
-assisting in the preparation and completion of the year end financial statements
-reviewing the completion of forms for the ABI reports
-assisting with Solvency II when required
-ensuring maintenance of the ledgers
To be successful in this Senior Financial Accounting role you will be a qualified accountant, ACA, ACCA or CIMA with Insurance accounting experience, UK GAAP and FSA returns. It is essential you have worked in the Insurance Industry. In addition be a strong team player and good communicator.
