Operational Risk Manager, 6 month contract, Edinburgh

Our client a leading financial services firm is seeking an operational risk manager to join their team. This role is based in Edinburgh and it is a 6-month fixed term contract. Reporting to the head of operational risk the purpose of this role is to assist the business in the management of operational risk through conducting process reviews and analysis of risk events.
You will also be involved in process improvement working with the business in the development of processes, procedures and frameworks to reduce business risk and be involved in conducting risk assessments on change initiatives. Additional responsibilities include production of reports on a regular basis and relationship management.

You will have operational risk experience gained within financial services. Knowledge of current UK and overseas regulations relating to fund management is essential. Strong attention to detail and a team player is a must.
