• Business Analyst - Product Control

• City of London £450 - £500 day Interim

Our client, a leading Investment Bank, has a vacancy for an experienced Business Analyst with a background in Product Control. The objective of the role, sitting within the Credit Derivatives Control team is to drive and facilitate change initiatives to reduce the Bank's expenses associated with the calculation, production and distribution of Risk & P&L. The position will involve tracking, consolidating and reporting the project status and progress for the various Programme workstreams, and documenting both tactical and strategic improvements to maximize automation and reduce manual intervention resulting in lowered cost of trading. Additionally, you will be assisting Product Controllers with book migration reconciliations, P&L production parallel run testing and ownership of any related and subsequent issue resolution. Of particular interest would be a product control BA with PMO experience, who possesses an in depth knowledge of the line Product Control function, production of daily P&Ls, controls performed and understanding of 'front to back' trade processing, with knowledge of Credit Derivative products as well as broad knowledge of vanilla Interest Rate Derivatives.
