Our client a leading financial services firm is seeking a tax accountant to join their global transaction services division. The purpose of this role will be to provide support to all areas of the operations business across all taxes.

Key responsibilities include:

*maintaining and updating the Tax team's procedures
*performing and improving the team's bond tax reporting processes
*reviewing other teams' procedures where tax forms a material part
*error reporting requirements
*developing the tax knowledge internally
*involvement in the daily processing of Capital Gains Tax
*involvement in operational risk and control processes


You will be a qualified/part qualified tax accountant with a broad range of fund taxation including corporate tax on life and mutual funds, CGT across all relevant taxable funds, with-held taxes on dividends and distributions received, VAT and SDRT.

A qualification in tax such as the ATT or CTA and experience of accounting and tax systems ( such as Equity-e) would be beneficial as would knowledge of Multifond. Excellent communication skills is essential.
