Head of Regional Treasury Sales

A Head of Regional Treasury Sales is required for one of Saudi Arabia's leading Commercial Banks. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Treasury professional to take on a high profile leadership role, managing a growing team. The bank have a strong reputation in the local market, consequently this individual will inherit a significant book of clients with a strong pipeline of future business already established. Key to the role is the ability of the successful individual to build strong relationships with other business lines within the bank (Corporate, Commercial, Private and Retail Banking)
The Head of Regional Treasury Sales will have the opportunity to join a strong team which are on track to meet all financial targets for 2009. Operating at a senior level and working as one of 3 regional managers you will have responsibility for developing strategies alongside your peers working closely with the senior manager responsible for structuring. Products to include, Spot, FX, Forwards, predominantly flow, with additional responsibility for some Structured Products (utilised for hedging and investment purposes), Commodities and Bonds.
Major duties for the Head of Regional Treasury Sales will include:
Provision of strong leadership and direction to the team with clear communication of objectives and targets.
Engage with various sales teams within the Bank providing them with advice on the best strategies for each of their clients portfolio's.
Strengthening and maintaining solid relationships with key clients
Dealing in a broad range of financial instruments whilst maintaining adherence to limits
Continually staying informed of market developments to be best positioned to provide dealing positions and strategies to clients
Updating and providing daily PnL and position reports.
Mentoring and developing direct reports, in terms of both personal development and market knowledge whilst ensuring they adhere to their dealing limits.
Skills and Experience
You should posses a significant amount of multi-product dealing experience gained within a bank. A minimum of 3 years proven managerial experience is strongly preferred. Applicants should ideally be educated to degree standard with preference for a numerical discipline. Fluency in English is essential with fluency in Arabic desirable. A proven ability to analyse clients circumstances and recommend suitable investment strategies is essential. You should be fully conversant with dealing admin. and reporting processes and procedure. The Head of Regional Treasury Sales will also be expected to demonstrate a strong awareness of risk management philosophy and techniques as well as experience of strategic planning and budgeting processes.
